Issues with my Interfering mother, plz help!?
Your mum may be interfering, but quite a part of that will be wanting to help you do what she feels is right for you and the baby (which may not always be the same as what you think!), and she's probably really upset by your letter and 'phoning you up was a knee-jerk reaction to it. You are too stressed out now to cope with this - the pregnancy hormones and strains are hard on a woman's body and mind - so give her and you a little time to get calmer, and for you to sort out what you want for the new baby, then call or write and apologise for upsetting her. You don't have to take back anything you said or change your mind, just say you hadn't wanted to upset her. She may be the one in the wrong, but someone has to make the first move and you don't want your baby growing up not knowing its granny and all the benefits that brings to a child. Good luck.
