I'm really terrified please help? sorry it's long?

so a few weeks ago I went to my riding lesson and I went out to catch the horse I ride (Luke) but my coach said for me to put him in his stall and to go out and get this other horse (same pen as the horse I just got) that had only been there a week or so (solitaire) , and she warned me that he had bad manners and may try to bite me because he hates being caught. So I go in there and he was totally fine when I went in to get Luke, but when I walked over him he seemed a bit unsure. I talked nicely to him, I was like hey solitaire, aren't you pretty (tall, black and white pinto, muscly, beautiful) aren't you lovely. when I got close enough to him for him to know I wanted to catch him he pinned his ears back, but kept eating his hay. So I was like hey buddy don't pin your ears back, and he lifted his head to look at me and had his ears pinned and started to put his head like he was warning he was about to bite. So I put the halter behind my back and talked nicely to him again and he calmed down and unpinned his ears and I petted him, and the I was like hey I'm going to put the halter on you now and I slowly brought out the halter. Ears pinned. I tell him aw don't do that, and reach out to touch him. He decides he's had enough and starts to walk away. So I say hey come on don't walk away from me, and I calmly and slowly walk up to him again , and when I got about to his shoulder he whipped around, I turned to run, but he kicked me in the back of my thigh. and promptly walked away. oh my god. It hurt. but the scariness definitely out weighed the hurt. He kick me. I was being as sweet and nice as possible. I didn't smack him, I didn't yell. so I got to ride my baby Luke. My coach (who also owns the stable) was piissed. The horse was gone within a week. but now I'm traumatized. the next week I couldn't ride Luke so I had to get another horse called Harold, so naturally I would be a bit wary, but I'd ridden Harold before and I was kinda scared but I did it. The time I was to ride a pony (mare) I went into her pen and got her and was kinda scare, but before I was even done brushing her I was in tears from just fear. I know ponies are grumpy especially mares, but she kept pinning back her ears! next time I rode Luke. and he was being all weird like running behind the other horse, and he is not the top horse in his pen (as you could tell if you saw his blanket) and the other horses were getting all annoyed at him, and this one horse that's in there, when I got kicked this girl told me how he had kicked her in the head once. Guess which annoyed horse Luke was standing behind? so I had to get help. So long story (yes it could be longer) short I'm scared of horses I don't know. especially when I have to walk up be hind them or in between them when I'm getting a horse. but I'm fine (just a little wary) with the horses I do know. So I need to know how to get over this because not only is it embarring, but I hate being afraid of the the horses, I love them! oh also my mom is starting to find it hard to be understanding anymore. so can you help? or should I have asked this in the psychology section?
