Catholic's input on the "7 New Sins"?

you see this is the problem with people and there understanding of church especially the counsils, much like the trinity, where some people say it wasnt around till it was invented in the council. no it was around, for a very long time, the only reason it was discussed in the council is so many heracies about it began to spread so it became official as explained by the church. same with these new laws, they have always been there, they are just now official
