Curry - I bought some Asian, and have "schilling" store type curry - what's the difference?

I know curry is a blend. I'd like to know what the differences are between the Schilling / store stuff, the Asian blends and the more Middle Eastern type blends. I have a recipe I want to try that is for a morrocoan type beef stew, and want to know which one to use.
