Do you think Jews get treated better than others in America?

I mean like Helen Thomas and Rick Sanchez getting fired for example. Thomas said Jews should go back to Europe. Most of Israel's population did come from Europe, afterall. Not taking sides but just saying it shouldn't be taboo to have that opinion. Then Rick Sanchez saying Jews run the media.... they are afterall the most well off ethnic group in America. Saying they own something isn't like calling them by a slur. I mean Republicans, Democrats, Tea pary, Muslims, Mexicans all get bashed non-stop from channel to channel....... but somebody makes a comment about Jews, which really isn't even close to a slur, they get the world dropped on them. Opinions?
