Has National Geographic Channel Maintained most of it's Credibility?

Compared to the History Channel, and other discovery channels it's maintained a more professional and scientific perspective. I noticed that Discovery channel networks have started being overrun by lame reality shows. They even started having the 'Ghost Hunters' show. It's strange that Rupert Murdoch own s Nat Geo because it is such a unbiased channel and I have not picked up on any right wing agenda or propaganda programs yet. I don't think Murdoch influence was strong in every media outlet he owned, just some and more in others such as Faux News. How thin would he be stretched if he had to look after all of his many media outlets?
