I've had this dream of a nonexisting family for 13 years, why is that?

In my dream their entire family doesn't have ANY boys. A mother of four girls that has retired from her service in the army. She also has four granddaughters. West Oakland, yes. It's not all bad, as it's a large area. By the Coliseum is the same, if not worse. If I had a certain amount of money to come live here and didn't know much about the area, I'd look in Lower Nob Hill. Nob Hill is pretty posh, but Lower Nob Hill is a neighborhood of apartment buildings that are better and worse - again, it's a pretty large area. It's on the edge of downtown, and it's kind of where a lot of working-cl people live. If you choose carefully, you can get a pretty decent place for not too much rent. I'm not saying a permanent residence, necessarily, just a place for a few months till you get your feet under you. There are many options, this is just one - not saying it's the very best way. It's what I'd do, with money but not so much money to get started.

Well, I have been married to my man for almost 18 years now, and he had never been interested in Christmas or any other shopping for anyone outside of our household. I love the guy, so shopping is my thing. I simply make a list early on in a year, and start my Christmas shopping early ( sometime in September ). How I get my ideas: I pay attention to what people on my list say about themselves. People like to share little things like favorite activities, nice piece of clothing they would hope to get or a gadget they have been looking for for a while now etc. By the time I am ready to start my Christmas shopping, I know exactly what people on my list would enjoy the most. Extreme pain in and around my eye?

I have extreme pain in and around my eye, but of course, it's too late to go to a doctor and I know my mother wouldn't take me to the ER. He should have been shown when he was a kid how much money the family had coming in each money, where that money must go, and how much remains. The parents should let the kid fail on his own or they will have to bail out this kid that feels entitled to everything he wants. My guess is the parents bought him up buying him everything he wanted and he never had to work and learned the value of a dollar. The parents should ignore his demands for them to pay the balance (he will just run up more charges) and let him figure it out. Maybe he will have to get a job or he will find out soon how the credit card company will come after him and he won't be able to buy a car, house or get a credit card for years! I think that you probably already know the answer to you question, so really it is just a question of confirmation and explanation as to why. Wonderful that you have bought a heated propogator, and when used to bring the seeds to a stage of germination when the temperature is low can be a great bonus. I f you put seeds into a heated propogater when the temperature is high it is likely that the propogator will not work if it is the type that has a thermostat. If it just has a very low wattage heating element with no thermostat it will almost certainly heat up to an unsatisfactory temperature. The seeds will possibly start to germinate, but will then be prone to rotting or even racing away and becoming 'leggy'. If the temperature is warm enough, the seeds will germinate in either the ground or a container without artificial help. To promote rapid healthy growth plants also require light and food. This is best acheived naturally when the conditions are right. Good luck. Try experimenting. Gardening can be great fun and very rewarding.

I prefer Adam Lambert. Adam's music is more my style. I have not heard a song from Adam that I haven't enjoyed. His songs are more enjoyable and upbeat whereas Kris' music is more county. (movie help) 17 again?

I saw it on Friday, opening night and it was packed in that theater. It's actually a really good movie. I laughed the whole time. I love Zac Efron so he is basically my motivation for going to see it but I'm glad I did because it was worth it. Obviously the storyline is predictable but he who cares it was a good movie. Almost made me cry, but it had a happy ending. Pretty much hilarious and Efrons breakout from being child and teen star, to teen start and young adult star. I give it two thumbs up and deffinately recommend you go and see it. You won't regret it. It's hilarious. =)

I had a baby with my Girlfriend in april 2010. I don't want to be with my girlfriend anymore for some personal reasons and she threats that if i leave her she will order child support against me. Since his birth in april (5 months now) i have been responsible with all of the financial burden due to the fact that my girlfriend does not have a job. And i will continue to buy my son what ever he needs and see him everyday. So can she really put child support on me if i leave her. So with all that i have as proof of financial and emotional support can i still be sentenced to child support by a court or will they see my support and call my girlfriend crazy. It's so weird. I was half-asleep when I woke up at about 6am and I saw the sky out of the corner of my eye. I opened my blinds and remember thinking it was pretty lol. Turtle experts, please help!!!?

So I have a water turtle, her name is Oscar by the way. :) I am having trouble with cleaning her tank. The hardest thing about it is the little rocks that you put in so the turtle isn't standing on just gl. The rocks seem to collect so much gunk and bacteria and they are the smelliest part about cleaning my tank. And here lately my pet has been keeping me up all hours of the night and then waking me up super early in the morning with her digging around it the pebbles. Do you think we should reform the tort system this way?

What I REALLY don't like about our current tort system is that it's based on finger-pointing rather than problem-solving. Remember when we were children and our parents used to teach us, "It doesn't matter who started the problem. All that matters is actually solving it."? Why isn't that principle applied to our courts? To punish someone by making them pay a million dollars for something they probably didn't even intend to do is NEVER productive because it doesn't actually solve the problem and it doesn't undo what's already been done. It's nothing more than childish finger pointing. So, I think we should reform the tort system so that the person who's been harmed only gets as much money as is required to correct the harm and NOTHING MORE than that! For example, if someone gets in a car accident, the at-fault driver should only pay the victim driver as much money as is necessary to fix the person's car. The jury should NOT be focusing on how to punish the person who started the car accident because all that matters is that the car actually gets fixed. In other words, there should be no concept of punitive damages in our courts. First of all, the concept of punitive damages is flawed because it umes that the person who was sued had bad intentions, committed the offense on purpose, and wants to do it again. But, most of the time, people are sued for things they DIDN'T mean to do and if they didn't MEAN to do it, then there's no guarantee that punitive damages are going to deter them from doing it again. Therefore, the court should ume that the person who was sued had good intentions, let them learn from their mistakes on their own, and instead focus on conflict resolution. So, I think our damages in civil court should be renamed Conflict Resolution Damages. What do you think of this proposal?

Electrical problem PLEASE HELP!!?

ok I have a 97 dodge neon and I was trying to install red lights in my air ducts to make it all glow so from the light I wrapped all the negatives together and seperatly wrapped all the possitive wires together. I hooked the negatives to the negative battery terminal. Then hooked the positives to a switch in the car that turns on the instrument cluster and other lights. My red lights worked fine untill my dumb took both wrapped up negative wires and positive wires from the red lights and put them togethe. All of the sudden BOOM SPARK POW. Every light shuts off. Why am I getting blisters from my soccer cleats?

2 yrs. ago I bought some Adidas soccer cleats. When I started getting blisters from the shoes, I thought it was just because they were new. But now 2 yrs. later they are still giving me the same problem. I usually wear size 7- 71/2 in regular shoes. But because soccer socks are a bit thicker than normal socks I bought size 8 shoes and they fit perfect (my feet were not squished). I decided I couldn't take the pain anymore and bought a new pair of Puma cleats in size 8 and now I am having the same problem. U should go to a chrisis pregnancy center or a womens shelter in your area. They will help u out from there. and trust me thay rilly will help u LIKE ALOT! My mom had to do that with me when i was younger and they ended up finding her a job and let her stay till she got on her feet again. they suply food and clothing for u and your baby. You have a pretty good team as far as I am concerned. Your team is definitely good at scoring the ball. The most important part of fantasy basketball is to have players that can help you with every category. You are in a little bit of trouble in rebounding. Blake Griffin is the best rebounder you have. He is the only rebounder you have to. Well also paul millsap. Your team is probably good at giving ists, you got rondo and parker, you should be able to have a high number of ists. The main problem with your team is that your team is not the best in defense. You need people to get steals and blocks for you. You have rondo and parker who can steal the ball, sometimes durant and melo can steal to. But you want even centers that can steal the ball for you. Amare and Dwight keep on getting me steals and blocks. Your team is short on blocks to. Blake Griffin is your only guy who can blocks every game. I think you are good at FG percentage and FT percentage. You do have players that can take care of the ball, melo and durant might be the two that would get you the most turnovers. So the only things that you are having troubles on is your rebounding and defense. Honestly if you are 18 games under .500 with this team, then the other guys probably chose as good or better players than yours, because this is a pretty good team in my opinion. Only thing is, if you want to lose someone, maybe lose eric gordon. Also, go to the available players list, who knows, there might be a player who could be a sleeper for you. Sleeper is someone that is not added on anyone's team but does really good, just in case you did not know. Last thing, I cannot help you with any trades, but to tell you the truth, everytime I think I am missing something on one of my categories, I just trade an all star guy, not a superstar, but an all star or a player who is a little below that level for someone who does good on the category that you are struggling on.For you, the best players you can trade when you are following my idea is Andrea Bargnani, Eric Gordan, Stephan Jackson, and Paul Millsap. But that doesn't mean you should trade all of them though. Those are just the options of you should trade. I would never trade amare or dwight because they are the best ones at rebounding, but I trade someone less important who grabs a little less rebounds for someone who is doing good on the category I am struggling on. Like for me, since I would never trade amare and dwight, I could trade someone like Lamar Odom who is on my team, he is important to me but not as important. Just don't trade the guy that will affect your categories most. Good luck!

Allergic reaction to soapy bubble bath give you thrush? & can you damage your skin down there by itching it?!?

I think i had some kind of allergic reaction to bubble bath, cause i got REALLY itchy down there, but it's been a few days now and i've still kind of got it. Just got tested posotive for TB, born outside the USA...now what?

It is going to be OK. I live in Canada, one of my friends had a positive tb test and continued to work as a nurse. You are not contagious of TB unless you have active pulmonary infection. If you had that you would be symptomatic with a cough, I am sure whoever conducted the test would have noticed. The next steps will be possible the second tb skin test, then they will do a chest xray and sputum sample. If, after these diagnostic tests, you are found to be colonized with tb, you will be starte on antibiotics for 6-9mos. This will ensure that you are free of the bacteria so it will not be able to become an active infection later in your life. Be aware that the BCG vaccine may provide false positve results, but only for a liminted number of years (10-15 years max). SO if you received this vaccine as an infant and are over 15 years old, the positive result is not related to the vaccine

How much does the hood on the Maclaren Triumph weigh?

I have the both the Maclaren Volo and XLR. I am debating getting another for flights and what not but still want a light weight stroller. A lot of the fish you listed will not get along with a fish of a different kind. Cichlids are not to be put in a tank with anything other than other cichlids, or they will chase your smaller fish, causing them stress and will also kill smaller fish. Cichlids get pretty big in size. Also, some of the fish you listed, such as Mollies, are live bearers, meaning they have live babies instead of laying eggs, and you risk the chance of the babies being eaten by the other fish. As for having an aquarium in your room, I have a 55 gal in my room and I love it...love the sound of the water, it puts me to sleep. As for getting a dark tank, do as I did, I spray-painted the back of my tank black, but you can also get a dark colored background to put on the back of the tank. As for the plants, some fish will eat live plants. You can use plastic, or what I prefer, silk plants. They are easier to maintain and the silk plants look life-like in the tank. You will also need to cycle the tank for at least 24 hrs before adding any fish. I would also add at least 2 cheap fish to cycle the tank to begin the bacteria that's needed for the fish's health, and I would cycle that for another 24 hrs. Or you can take your chance with the cheap fish by cycling the tank with them in it for the first 24 hrs.

Have any ideas as to why my ceiling fan and walls are covered in thick dusty-fuzz?? Almost like hair!?

Around a month and a 1/2 ago I totally cleaned all the blades on my ceiling fan, and now they are all covered in a THICK layer of dusty-fuzzy-almost hair like layer! And my walls along with everything on my walls are also steadily collecting "hair"! And this is only happening in my room, and it's been within the last month-two months that it started...I've got two vents in my room, but other rooms in the house have two as well....And like I said, this is the only room that's "hairy". Depends on the country. I find the people of the US to be responsible, in part, for the actions of their elected leaders. But in the case of tyrannical governments, where the people as a whole are not responsible for choosing those in power, I may not place blame entirely on the nations citizens.
