CHILD SUPPORT HELP NEEDED. I LIVE IN CA?

I had a baby with my Girlfriend in april 2010. I don't want to be with my girlfriend anymore for some personal reasons and she threats that if i leave her she will order child support against me. This is the thing. I just don't want to be with her and live with her but i am still going to see my son take care of him and buy him everything he can ever want or need. Since his birth in april (5 months now) i have been responsible with all of the financial burden due to the fact that my girlfriend does not have a job. In these last 5 months i have spent close to $3,000 dollars on baby needs (formula, clothes, diapers, wipes, toys, pacifiers...you name it ive bought it) And this is all me, all my money. And i will continue to buy my son what ever he needs and see him everyday. So can she really put child support on me if i leave her. I have a repeipt for everything i've ever purchased for my son and almost 1000 photos to date of all the times i've been with my son from birth to now. So with all that i have as proof of financial and emotional support can i still be sentenced to child support by a court or will they see my support and call my girlfriend crazy. I doent everything knowing she might pull this crap. I am a loving supporting father i just cant make things work with my girl
