Latex mold with fibergl reinforcement?

I am uncomfortable with the mix, but that just leads me to suggest a test on a small scale - it shouldn't take long to work up a small latex coating and apply fibergl and resin. My experience is with latex backed with plaster and some of the things I have played with as separators have turned the latex goopy. Also, although I don't work hard at perfect storage conditions, some of my latex molds are pretty tacky after a couple of years - will your big mold survive? My originals are plasticine clay and I am mostly making waxes for lost wax. Recently I have concluded that what I need to do is cast plaster in the molds to keep an original rather than trying to preserve the soft plasticine or the latex.
